City of Sandpoint Annual Budget
The Mayor directs City department heads in developing their annual budgets to meet the service levels defined by policy and the established goals of the City. The proposed budgets are then submitted to the City Council for review and possible changes through workshops and public hearing. The City Council then adopts the annual budget and appropriates the necessary funding. Upon adoption, the department heads manage the budgets in the most cost efficient manner possible under the direction of the Mayor.
The City's annual budget is provided below in two formats: departmental summary and narrative summary. A detailed budget is available from the Finance Department upon request.
