| Frequently Asked Questions:
Shelter Reservations are $50/day for those who reside inside Sandpoint City limits and $60 for non residents.
Reservation are for the entire day only.
Park hours are from 6am to 10pm.
At this time scheduling is available for the
year 2013 only, we encourage you to make early
reservations. M-F between the hours of 8 am and 5pm call P&R (208) 263-3613.
2014 scheduling will be available no latter than
November 1st 2013.
Sandpoint enjoys all four seasons. The best
months to use the shelter are May, June, July,
Aug, and Sept.
Call Sandpoint Parks and Rec to confirm
availability. Reservations are first come first
served until we have fees and application in
hand. Applications may be found on our web under
P&R Forms. You may print the picnic
shelter application and mail it in with a $40
check made out to the City of Sandpoint, or you
can stop by City Hall at 1123 Lake Street in
Sandpoint to take care of it in person.
Once your reservation application and fees
have been received by P&R staff we
will post you reservation on our web site picnic
shelter calendar and it will be posted reserved
the day of your reservation.
